1. Can you tell us a bit about Studio Pilates Coolangatta and what sets it apart from other fitness studios in the area?
At Studio Pilates Coolangatta we are dedicated to providing a personalised and inclusive environment to all of our clients. We offer a variety of classes tailored to suit all fitness levels whether you are recovering from an injury, looking to enhance athletic performance, or simply wanting to improve on your overall fitness. We are here every step of the way to achieve our clients desired goals. We're so much more than just a workout! We’re a like-minded community who inspire and support each other both in and outside of the studio. I absolutely love seeing clients form relationships with each other and head out for coffee after class and take the time to get to know one another.
2. How long has Studio Pilates Coolangatta been a part of the local Cooly community, and what inspired its establishment?
We opened the doors to our fabulous Coolangatta studio in April 2022 and have never looked back! We saw firsthand how life changing Pilates really is – not just physically, but mentally too – which is why we’re so passionate about sharing this message with others to help them look and feel their absolute best and the Cooly community has definitely jumped on board!
3. What types of pilates classes and programs does Studio Pilates Coolangatta offer? Are there any unique or specialised offerings?
One of the most unique things about Studio Pilates classes is that they’re designed to be suitable for everybody, no matter their age or fitness level. Every single exercise can be modified to be either regressed for newer/injured clients or progressed for clients who want a more advanced workout. We also utilise audio-visual technology in our studios, which helps clients move through each workout at their own pace!
4. We've heard about Eva, one of your dedicated instructors. Can you tell us more about her role at the studio and the positive impact she brings?
Eva is our incredible studio Manager. Not only does she take care of all our wonderful clients' needs, she is also a superstar instructor, delivering high energy, personalised workouts in a lovely welcoming environment.
She is our beautiful ball of energy and her positive light-hearted nature brightens everyone's day.
5. How does Studio Pilates Coolangatta create a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all fitness levels and backgrounds?
Studio Pilates was actually co-founded by a physiotherapist so every exercise performed in our classes are safe, effective and completely transformative. Our instructors are also highly trained in injury modifications, and we’re all really passionate about working with individual clients to modify anything in the program to suit individual injuries/niggles so everyone walks out feeling like they’ve completed a really successful workout!
6. What do you enjoy most about being a part of the Coolangatta community and serving its residents through Studio Pilates?
Every single day I’m genuinely excited to come into work – which is not something I ever thought was possible prior to opening the studio. Seeing our clients becoming fitter, stronger and healthier versions of themselves is something that will never get old and I still get such a kick watching someone go up a spring or nail an exercise they once struggled with. Getting to help change lives is so rewarding!
7. Finally, for someone who's new to pilates or considering trying it out, what advice or encouragement would you give them?
