The main draw card for Mums this May are The Strand’s six exclusive events that add extra sparkle to the Month of Mum!
Hurry in and sign up for any (or all!) of the six events with a simple $5 donation. *All proceeds from the events will go to The Sanctuary Women, Children & Pets Refuge, providing refuge, safety, and support for women and children affected by domestic violence within our community. The line up:

3. 🍹Tequila Soldada Cocktail Class 🍋 | Saturday 18 May | 1pm – 3pm: Transport yourself to the heart of Jalisco, Mexico, with a tequila cocktail class featuring Tequila Soldada and Delgados, handcrafted with blue agave and traditional methods. Spice up your cocktail making game with a chilli marg, or stick to the classic original – learn how to make all of your favourites.

4. 🌿 Brookie’s Gin Cocktail Class 🍸| Sunday 19 May | 1pm – 3pm: Experience the flavours of Byron Bay with a gin cocktail class showcasing Brookie’s Gin, distilled with native botanicals foraged from the rainforest. Indulge in the timeless elegance of a classic gin cocktail or the unique allure of a “slow gin” creation, boasting exhilarating notes of rose, watermelon, and bright plum.
