TERMS & CONDITIONS SPECIFIC FOR EVENTS FOR THE STRAND AT COOLANGATTA 2024
MONTH OF MUM EVENTS – During the Month of Mum: Mother’s Day campaign at The Strand offers six events for $5 per person. Maximum number of guests per private event is 20. All proceeds will be donated to charity: The Sanctuary Women, Children, and Pet’s Refuge.

THE PROMOTION – MONTH OF MUM: Events
1. The Events are as per dates: Resin Art Wine Glass Workshop 4 & 5 May 2024. Flower & Paint Art Workshop 11 & 12 May 2024. Tequila Cocktail Class 18 May 2024. Gin Cocktail Class, 19 May 2024.
THE EVENTS
2. There is a total of 20 participants per event. All participants to book through Eventbrite booking portal as outlined on line and in marketing collateral.
3. Participants of the Tequila and Gin Cocktail Class must be 18 years of age or older.
EVENT PARTICIPATION
4. All participants must show proof of purchase via Eventbrite to enter event on said date/per event type.
7. The Strand at Coolangatta takes no responsibility for participants that cannot show proof of purchase of ticket.
8. Participants of Tequila and Gin Cocktail Class must show identification prior to commencement of event. These two events will take place in Little Cooly Restaurant. All participants to make event host aware of any specific dietary allergies or issues before Class commences. The Strand takes no additional responsibility for any dietary issues.
9. No refunds.
10. $5 proceeds per event ticket purchase will be donated to said charity.
GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The general promotion terms and conditions together with the specific rules set out above are rules which apply to this promotion (“Promotion Rules”).
2. By entering this Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotion Rules.
3. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or the Promotion Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Strand at Coolangatta’s reasonable control.
4. In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion Rules, conduct of the Promotion and all other matters relating to a Promotion, the decision of the Strand at Coolangatta will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
Entrants
5. Employees and immediate family members of the Strand at Coolangatta, retailers, tenants, security and cleaning contractors are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
6. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.
7. All entry details will remain the property of the Strand at Coolangatta.
8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.
Liability
9. The Strand at Coolangatta does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with or in any way arising from the Promotion.
10. The Strand at Coolangatta will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in obtaining, using or otherwise in any way connected to the Promotion or the Promotion itself.
Data Protection and Publicity
11. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for the purpose of this Promotion and may be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering this promotion you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be securely held at all times.
