Terms and Conditions
Surfrider Investments Pty Ltd ABN 90 091 944 080 trading as “The Strand at
Coolangatta” (“Promoter”) is conducting a “Win your share in $10,000 this Winter”
promotion (“Promotion”).
A total of $10,000 worth of prizes will be given away during the period of the
Promotion (“Promotion Period”) comprising:
(a) 5 x $500 The Strand Gift cards (“Weekly Prize”); and
(b) 150 x $50 The Strand at Coolangatta Gift cards (“Instant Prize”)
to one hundred and fifty five (155) winners.
How to Enter
To enter the Promotion:
1. Spend a minimum of $20 in any one purchase at any participating store located
at The Strand at Coolangatta Shopping Centre to receive a game card; and
2. Scan the QR code:
(a) on the game card; or
(b) visit www.win10kthestrand.com.au; or
(c) visit the competition displays located at Level 1, outside Woolworths or
Ground level, outside Helloworld
and fill in all requested details; and
3. Play the animation to reveal if you have won a prize!
Instant Prize winners will be notified immediately on screen and also via an email
advising of the prize redemption process.
Instant Prize winners and non prize-winners will all be automatically entered into the
Weekly Prize draws (details of which are below).
Promotion Period
The Promotion opens at 9am on Monday 7th June and closes at 11:59pm on Sunday
11th July 2021.
Conditions of Entry
1. Information in ‘How to Enter’ forms part of these ‘Conditions of Entry’.
2. To be valid, each entry must be on a fully completed microsite entry form.
3. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged at least 18 years.
4. Only one entry is issued per purchase at each participating store. Lay-by
payments or bill payments [such as the payment of credit card bills, bank
transactions, bank fees and charges] and service bills [such as gas, electricity,
rates and phone bills] are not eligible to enter the Promotion.
5. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. The Promoter
takes no responsibility for entries that cannot be delivered or entered for any
technical or other reason whatsoever.
6. Any entry which in the opinion of the Promoter is illegible, forged, altered,
mutilated, copied or tampered with in any way will not be eligible to enter the
Promotion.
7. Employees of the Promoter and the companies/agencies associated with the
Promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter the Promotion.
“Immediate families” mean parents, siblings, spouses, children and grandparents.
8. Management and staff of stores at The Stand at Collangatta are not permitted
to enter.
9. All prize winners must provide suitable identification to the Promoter’s satisfaction
to claim their prize.
10. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to verify the validity of
any entry and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or
who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the Conditions of Entry.

Prizes:
Instant Prizes
150 x $50 The Strand at Coolangatta Gift cards – One Hundred and Fifty prizes.

Weekly Prizes
5 x $500 The Strand at Coolangatta Gift cards – Five prizes.
Total: $2,500
Total Prize Pool value: $10,000
1. The prize values are correct at the authorisation date of the Promotion. The
Promoter is not responsible for any subsequent variation in value to the total prize
value.
2. The prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable and must be
taken as offered
3. Prize winners must collect their prize from the Promoter’s Centre Management
office located next to Woolworths on Level 1 at 72-80 Marine Parade,
Coolangatta QLD 4225 by 5pm Wednesday 11th August 2021.
Date, Time and Place of Weekly Draws
Instant Prize winners will be notified immediately on screen and also via an email
advising of the prize redemption process.
The winners of the Weekly Prizes will be drawn at Compco Digital located at 166
Ramsgate Avenue, Bondi NSW 2026 at 11.00 am on the following dates:
- Tuesday 15th June
- Monday 21st June
- Monday 28th June
- Monday 5th July
- Monday 12th July
1. The Weekly Prizes winners will be determined via a random electronic draw.
2. The decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
3. The winners need not be present at the draw.
4. Within 21 days after the draw has taken place, the winners will be notified by
phone and email and the winners name will be published on the The Strand at
Coolangatta website.
5. If the Weekly Prizes are not claimed within 42 days of the draw taking place, a
redraw will be conducted at Compco Digital located at 166 Ramsgate Avenue,
Bondi NSW 2026).
Privacy Information
1. The Promoter agrees to keep confidential all entrants’ personal details obtained
by the Promoter during the Promotion.
2. If a prize winner accepta a prize, the Promoter reserves the right to use each
prize winner’s name and photograph for its marketing and publicity purposes.
3. Unless an entrant notifies the Promoter otherwise in writing, all the entrant’s
personal information supplied by the entrant may be added by the Promoter to
the Promoter’s database and may be used by the Promoter for the purpose of
the Promotion and for future promotional and marketing purposes in
accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM Act
2003. By entering the Promotion each entrant consents to the use of their
personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be
securely held at all times in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which

General Terms
1. The Promoter, their staff and all companies associated with the Promoter,
accept no responsibility for any loss or damage whatsoever which a prize winner
may suffer including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for any
personal injury suffered or sustained as a consequence of the use and
enjoyment of any item gained via the prize except for any liability which cannot
be excluded by law.
2. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise
from the prize winnings or the use thereof. It is each prize winner’s responsibility to
seek independent advice on the implications any prize winnings may have on
their own financial situation.
3. Provided an entry otherwise complies with the Conditions of Entry, an entry in
excess of the advertised prize pool value will be honoured.
4. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned by the
Promoter including pandemic, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond
the control of the Promoter, which corrupts or affects the administration security,
fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, then the Promoter reserves
the right to suspend or cancel the Promotion subject to all applicable laws and
regulations.
5. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the
entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion
subject to the approval of the gaming authorities where required.
6. If all or any part of any term or condition contained in these Terms and
Conditions shall be declared or become unenforceable, invalid or illegal for any
reason, such term or condition [or part thereof] shall be deemed severed from
these Terms and Conditions and the other Terms and Conditions hereof shall
remain in full force.
7. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel the Promotion and not award the
prize(s) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s). Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion
the Promoter will:
a. Advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice at
the Promoter’s Centre Management Office and on the The Strand at
Coolangatta website;
b. Promptly destroy all entries received; and
c. Not use the personal information you have provided.
8. Participation in the Promotion shall be deemed acceptance by you of all the
Terms and Conditions.
