Spend a day at The Strand
on 05 September 2019
Got the family in tow? You’ll find everything the family needs for a day out in Coolangatta at The Strand. Dad can grab a coffee at Griffith Street Larder
on his way to The Strand Barbers
for a haircut (don’t forget it’s time to trim that winter beard!).
After a morning at the beach, Mum can bring the kids in from the sand and head to Crema Espresso
for lunch. While Mum has a coffee in hand, the kids can burn up any extra energy at the Crema Kids play area.
Then it’s upstairs to Salt & Smoke
and Strand Fresh Fruit
to get all the ingredients for that night’s BBQ. The kids won’t be able to go past Timezone
, and Dad can even take on the kids at a game of bowling at Timezone’s
full size bowling alley.
After a surf with the boys, come in from the waves at Snapper or Greenmount and keep the good vibes rolling with a coffee and hearty breakfast at Café 28 before browsing the latest boards and accessories at Boardriders
. If you’re more into the skate scene, check out the new release decks and accessories from local pro, Jesse Noonan, now stocked at Concrete Lines
When you’ve worked up an appetite, head to The Cooly Hotel
for lunch and an afternoon of catchups, with free live music from 5pm.
For the girls, a day off calls for a day of pampering! Treat yourself to a massage at endota Spa
before browsing through the laneways and boutique stores for a cute new look for the new season.
When it’s time for cocktails and tapas, head to Bin 72
for the ultimate afternoon overlooking the ocean or make it margaritas at Beach Burrito
– with plenty of tasty options on the menu to keep you satisfied well after the sun goes down.
The Strand at Coolangatta has a range of options to suit every occasion from family-friendly to around-the-clock fun.
