Hop into The Strand This Easter
 
This year, The Strand at Coolangatta is giving the whole family a reason to get excited about Easter.
 
With a range of fun, free and family-friendly activities to get involved in during the Easter break, there is no better place to celebrate than The Strand.
 
Easter Bunny Visits
 
It wouldn’t be Easter without chocolate, so the Easter Bunny will be making a special visit to The Strand at 11am – 2pm daily from Monday 10 to Saturday 15 April (excluding Good Friday) to give out FREE Easter Eggs.
 
 
The Great LEGO® Building Challenge
 
Get ready to show off your Lego skills as the Great LEGO® Building Challenge is coming to The Strand!
 
Held from Monday 10 April to Saturday 15 April, competitors will let their imaginations run wild as they construct masterpieces out of LEGO®. During the heats, each contestant will receive a bookmark of excellence while a first, second and third place will be chosen with great LEGO® prizes awarded. First and second place heat winners will be invited back to the Finals to compete for a prize package valued at over $800. The dates are as follows:
 
Heats—Monday 10 to Thursday 13 April:
Heat 1: 10.30am, 3 – 7 Years
Heat 2: 11.30am, 8 – 14 Years
Heat 3: 12.30pm, 3 – 7 Years
Heat 4: 1.30pm, 8 – 14 Years
 
Finals—Saturday 15 April:
Final 1: 11.30am, 3 – 7 Years
Final 2: 12.30pm, 8 – 14 Years
 
 
Snap Hoppy
 
This Easter, let The Strand take you on a magical 3D adventure to interact with Hoppy the Easter Bunny on your phone or tablet and capture the memories to share!
 
Download our free ‘Snap Hoppy’ app and take a journey through the centre to find the magic floor markers – just point your smartphone or tablet at the marker and Hoppy will spring into life! There are five different places to find Hoppy, so snap a photo with him and share it to social media with the hashtag #snaphoppy and you’ll go into the draw to win a $200 Strand Gift Card every week from 1 – 23 April.
