Outdoor Bootcamps Around the Gold Coast

on 22 January 2019 in Health & beauty
Bored of the normal gym routine? Does the thought of running on a treadmill fill you with dread? For something completely different, fun, and challenging, why not think about giving an outdoor bootcamp class a go?
Based on military fitness programs, bootcamps provide a mixture of strength and cardio exercises for a full-body workout. The best part about bootcamps? They’re outdoors. This means you can get your sweat on while enjoying the fresh air. Outdoor boot camp classes are held everywhere on the Gold Coast. Here are some of the best.

1. Get Raw Bootcamps

Get Raw Bootcamps are a fresh, fun, and motivating way to get fit this year. They combine blends of different programs, including boxing, HIIT, sandbags, pilates, and terrain training. What makes Get Raw Bootcamps unique is that they train clients to achieve their own personal goals and incorporate exercises to suit the individual, while being in a group environment. For mums with bubs, Get Raw offer a free ‘bub assistant’ to watch over your kids as you train.
Get Raw’s bootcamp sessions suit anyone and all fitness levels. Trainer Simone Kelly has over 19 years personal training and health coaching under her belt and has been voted ‘Best Personal Trainer’ on the Gold Coast by The Bulletin in 2017. Bootcamp sessions are located in Miami, Burleigh, and Palm Beach. To book a session, download the “MindBody” app and search ‘Get Raw Bootcamps’.

2. Dangerously Fit

The bootcamp sessions are challenging yet efficient 45-minute sessions designed to strengthen the body and improve fitness. Dangerously Fit also offer nutrition advice and meal plans.
Owner Daniel Clay and fellow personal trainers are dedicated to transforming bodies and mindsets, and are effective at working with people of all backgrounds and fitness levels. 3. Fresh Fitness

Look and feel your absolute best with Fresh Fitness Bootcamps. Training at sunset, these bootcamps provide a calm environment with a challenging and motivating workout to empower and transform you. Incorporating self-defence exercises with traditional boot camp strength and cardio training, Fresh Fitness is a unique way to get fit and achieve your fitness goals.
Boot camp instructors Carlie and Shea Webb have over 10+ years’ experience training all types of people and fitness levels. Every bootcamp session is different, keeping it fun and interesting. Running from 6-12 weeks, Fresh Fitness Bootcamp sessions will be held in the Tallebudgera/Currumbin area with dates to be advised.

4. The Shake Up

The Shake Up bootcamps are structured around ‘ICE training’ (“intense cardiovascular exercise”), so each bootcamp session lasts only 25 minutes - but they pack a punch! The Shake Up is suitable for everyone of all fitness levels and age groups, and to really reap the benefits they ask everyone to put in 100% effort to the short sessions to gain the most of the practice.
The Shake Up has a sense of community, with every member holding each other accountable and keeping each other motivated. The fun social environment makes this challenging bootcamp workout addictive. Sessions are held at Pacific Pines and Palm Beach, with morning and night workouts available.

5. Transformation Inc

Transformation Inc doesn’t believe in shouting army sergeants to get their group working hard. Instead, founder and trainer Mitch Woodward prides their bootcamp sessions and training on moral support to get their clients through.
The workouts incorporate strength and cardio, including work with sandbags and terrain circuits. With multiple locations along the Gold Coast including Broadbeach, Main Beach, Southport, Miami, and Surfer’s Paradise, now is the time to work toward achieving those new year resolutions!
