TERMS & CONDITIONS SPECIFIC FOR EVENTS FOR THE STRAND AT COOLANGATTA 2024

The Smurfs Free Activity Centre – During July at The Strand offers five days of activities for children ages 3+ and up.

THE PROMOTION – The Smurfs Free Activity Centre

1. The Events are as per dates: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 July 2025, offer a mix of Smurf craft activities. Event will run while supplies last. Bookings through Eventbrite are recommended.

THE EVENTS

2. Participants are not required to book ahead of time, but it is encouraged to help secure their spot. Participants under 18 years of age, to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3. Participants to join in the FREE events held at the workshop set each day for ten days between the hours of 10am – 1pm.

4. 10 & 12 July Events feature Smurf Food Crafts. Ingredient list: ……

5. Parents to please review ingredients list provided on website or at event for any dietary allergies. The Strand is not responsible for any dietary allergies as part of the Event Promotion. All participants to make event workshop host aware of any specific dietary allergies or issues before commencing the event.

6. Participants of event are entering at their own risk.

EVENT PARTICIPATION

7. These events will take place on Level 1 near Timezone.

8. These events are completely free of charge.

9. Movie Ticket Competition: Upon entering the workshop, customers who can show proof of receipt of $5 or more spent that day at The Strand, qualify to enter the draw. Participants who qualify may scan QR Code provided by talent, then enter their personal details as requested, to enter the draw to win.

10. Prizes include 1 of 50 Family Passes to Cinebar Cinemas. Family Pass = 2 adults tickets + 2 kids tickets

11. 50 winners will announced on 14 July 2025. They will be contacted via phone and email. Prizes will be emailed out, or, can be collected from Centre Management Office between Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Prizes that have been unclaimed by Monday 11 August 2025 will be re-drawn. There are no exchanges or refunds with prizes.

GENERAL PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

12. The general promotion terms and conditions together with the specific rules set out above are rules which apply to this promotion (“Promotion Rules”).

13. By entering this Promotion, entrants are deemed to have read and agreed to abide by the Promotion Rules.

14. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or the Promotion Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside the Strand at Coolangatta’s reasonable control.

15. In the event of any dispute regarding the Promotion Rules, conduct of the Promotion and all other matters relating to a Promotion, the decision of the Strand at Coolangatta will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

ENTRANTS OF THE SMURFS COMPETITION

16. Competition entrants may not be employees and immediate family members of the Strand at Coolangatta, retailers, tenants, security and cleaning contractors are not eligible to enter the Promotion.

17. By entering the Promotion you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. The Strand at Coolangatta reserves the right to verify the eligibility and identity of all entrants.

18. All entry details will remain the property of the Strand at Coolangatta.

19. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries, or any entry not compliant with the Promotion Rules, will be deemed invalid.

LIABILITY

20. The Strand at Coolangatta does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with or in any way arising from the Promotion.

21. The Strand at Coolangatta will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in obtaining, using or otherwise in any way connected to the Promotion or the Promotion itself.

22. All personal information supplied by entrants will be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for the purpose of this Promotion and may be used by the Strand at Coolangatta for future promotional and marketing purposes in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1998 and the SPAM act 2003. By entering this promotion you consent to the future use of your personal information for these purposes. All personal information supplied will be securely held at all times.
