Pop in to 4 Pines x Boardriders – Coolangatta for a post-surf breakfast and you’ll enjoy the likes of sautéed seasonal mushrooms with chives, crème fraiche, Dijon mustard and poached egg on sourdough, sweet-spiced granola with shaved coconut, Greek yoghurt and seasonal Queensland fruits or a bacon and egg roll. Alongside tea and coffee, there will also be a selection of fresh juices and smoothies available as well as milkshakes and boozy brekky drinks such as a The Brekky Beer (4 Pines Pale Ale, vodka, acai puree, lemon juice) and a Breakfast Martini (dry gin, orange marmalade, Cointreau, lemon juice).
The lunch and dinner menu champions classic Australian café and pub fare. Shared items such as spiced chicken wings with kick-ass sauce and salt and pepper squid with lime, aioli, coriander, sriracha and fresh chilli sit alongside a selection of burgers and sandwiches including The Chook Burger (cornflake crunch buttermilk fried chicken thigh, chilli, peanut butter, pickled cabbage, carrot, pickles and sriracha on a milk bun with chips) and The Fish Burger (crumbed Queensland barramundi with tartare, tasty cheese, butterleaf lettuce and pickles on a milk bun with chips).
