Blue Jean Sisters
A project created by artist Belinda Smith in response to the activities of social justice and ethical clothing brand Outland Denim. The aim is to raise awareness around the issue of modern slavery through collective empowerment. We will have a maker’s station which will allow participants to make a doll out of reused/recycled denim. Her goal is to install 2000 dolls made by the individuals using a 'zero waste' process.
Learn to paint plants in watercolour with Claire Hastings, an Art Bites session
Join local young artist Claire to learn some basic watercolour techniques and tips to creating your own botanical artwork from 10am to 11am.
