Summer Dining at The Strand

The Strand is celebrating the arrival of summer with two new additions to our dining scene. Dine in or takeaway at Selfish, The Strand’s latest addition to the beachfront dining strip featuring freshly cooked fish and chips and showcasing the freshest seafood on offer in their hot and cold seafood platter. Pair it with a glass of champagne, beer or wine and enjoy the taste of summer at the licenced restaurant open 7 days for lunch and dinner.

Head back in time to the retro-inspired Pancake Diner offering both sweet and savoury pancakes and crepes, as well as a menu of steak, ribs, fish, chicken and salads. From the team at Pancakes in Paradise, this is sure to be a hit with families seeking a great place to dine after a big day at the beach. They’ll be opening soon at the entry to the Level 1 Dining Precinct.

Everyone’s favourite award winning O-Sushi serves up a unique blend of Japanese-French fusion style dishes that are authentic and delicious. If you’re on the go, you can’t go past Thanh Binh Bamboo’s rice paper rolls, a fresh snack that is perfect for summer.

Feast on all your Italian favourites with a modern twist at Delizioso on Level 1, from fresh seafood pasta to generously topped pizzasWith a bread/bowl option, Griffith St Larder is the ideal spot to stop for a light lunch and an iced latte to keep your cool. Get your hands around a gourmet burger from Grill’d and bite into produce that is locally sourced from our own region.

Top it all off with a scoop of summer in a cup from Gelato Messina. Choosing from their 40+ flavours might be the hardest decision you have to make!

With a growing range of beachfront dining options boasting a world of global flavours, The Strand at Coolangatta is the place to be this summer. Come and enjoy a meal at one of the new restaurants or swing by and see the familiar faces at your favourite dining destination.
